There has been so much going on lately that I have found myself with no time to blog, at least not as regularly as I would like. I thought I would take this opportunity to write an update of what’s been happening and how things are going.
You may recall I wrote about needing a job so I can buy all the things and blog about them. I mean, what’s a fashion blog without the fashion!?
Although, this isn’t just a fashion blog as there are far too many exciting things and fashion is just one part of it. And if you haven’t worked it out yet, I’m not exactly your standard blogger — which is totally okay and no I am not saying I am better than any other kind of blogger. I am, simply, different.
Anyway, the last point of why I need a job is that there’s only so many times I can wear my Maitreya Zipper Skinny Jeans by Onyx LeShelle before they need a break or just break altogether.
A really long story short — it was nearly 2,000 words — I start an unpaid Blogging Internship on Tuesday (Monday in Second Life) and then I went and got a job as a DJ.
I landed both of those on the same day, as you do, because I am consistently overachieving to the point of madness.
You can view the outfit details here.
I know, I said I didn’t want to DJ again because it’s not the direction I want to go in Second Life™ anymore. But I realised that I am damn good at it, it’s easy for me and I enjoy it enough to do a few gigs a week. Plus, it’s one of the few jobs that will allow flexibility while I focus on my internship and blogging.
Of course, I am also impulsive, which may or may not have been the actual reason behind the DJ gig and the wonderful reason above is merely an after thought that sounds very rational. But we’ll forget this last bit and go with the rational one; it makes me sound better.

In other news, I have a KittyCatS kitten. His name is Sir Storm of Geddon — 10 points to your house if you know the vague reference — and he’s actually quite cute!
In a moment of weakness I saw the little guy up for adoption and just had to have him. Even Eidann thinks he’s adorable, so clearly, I’m not completely losing my marbles. Not yet anyway.
Way back when, I had one of the early versions of Zooby cat’s that didn’t require feeding or, well, anything really. They just roamed around, looked blocky and bumped into everything, which I’m a little embarrassed to say was highly entertaining. They were also renowned for leaving their set range and were forever being returned to my “Lost and Found” folder. Oh that was just mine? Okay then let’s move on.
It probably then comes as no surprise to you that I had no idea I was supposed to feed him — Sir Storm of Geddon, not Eidann — so I spent the better part of a morning reading the manual and learning all about my new little scripted bundle of furry joy. And you know what it doesn’t have anywhere in the manual? Where to buy the food from.
Yes I am that lazy, I don’t want to have to search for stuff and what if someone’s new to Second Life™ and has no idea how to use search yet but somehow managed to get themselves a KittyCatS?
Luckily I’m not new so I did an in-world search and found the KittyCatS mothership. This makes me think these cats are planning to take over the world and we’ll need a superhero with two hearts and screwdriver to fix it… Anyway, I acquired some food and then spent the next hour cuddling my kitten. Little things, remember?
Lastly, I mentioned that I have been feeling lonely. That feeling hasn’t made its way past me yet, but the Internship and DJ jobs will go a long way towards making new friends and new memories that I can one day look back on fondly.
And that is it. We are now completely up to date with the goings-on of Razzy. Stay tuned for your regularly scheduled transmission.
